Site improvements to the corporate campus of Capital Broadcasting and WRAL include a redefined entry boulevard and parking facilities in addition to the design of gardens.  With a rich history in gardens open to the public, garden additions at WRAL celebrate the station’s accomplishment as the nation’s first high definition studio and regularly produced high definition newscast.  Emanating from the entry fountain, paving patterns and plantings represent analog television signal broadcast patterns.  Significant existing trees were preserved as part of public streetscape design.
